In the to stories "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson and "The Perils of Indifference" by Elis Wiesel there are many different ways that they perform acts of violence. In "The Lottery" the villagers all gather to be entered in a lottery. Once the person is drawn it is decided to kill that person. Even when she begged them not to kill her with rocks and stone they all started throwing rocks at her to kill her. Also in "The Perils of Indifference" there was a boat that was called St. Louis and it was filled with about 1000 Jews, was "already on the shores of the United States, was sent back" to the Germany where Hitler was in power and putting people into concentration camps and killing people. In conclusion there are many reasons that humans perform acts of violence but it doesn't necessarily mean that its right.

Dream Job
Do you think it is important to be passionate about your job?
YES!!! But what's a job that I would really like to do??
I want to be a musician. I'm been singing on stages since the age of nine. I cannot see my life without music. I have my grade 7 in Royal Conservatory Piano and my grade 2 with honors in theory. I've played guitar regularly on stage and perform at least once a month at a local coffee shop. I've been paid about 100$ an hour to sing and entertain. Can I see myself doing anything else? Absolutely Not! Only about 41% of Canadians surveys said that there schooling actually benefited them in getting there dream job, so what does that mean? Is it who you know? In any case I will do everything in my power to get to where I want to be and I will push myself until I'm famous ;)

Seal and Crofts
This is a review of the band Seals & Croft
In my personal opinion I think that they were a very good band. they where very popular in the 1970's and where best know for songs such as Summer Breeze and Hummingbird.
the reason the where such an effective band was because of the perfect and intense harmony lines. there voices blended together so perfectly and there songwriting skill was almost unmatched. another positive about this band is that they use different and unique instruments such as the mandolin. Plus there vocals where pleasing to the ear and the mind containing spiritual themes.

Consolation Prize
If I wrote a post and won a prize what would it be? Should the prize reflect the amount of effort I put in? In any case my prize would probably be a moldy sock or maybe a rotten box of crackers. Although most bloggers are interested in dispensing there thoughts and ideas into the world wide web, simply I'm not. I cannot begin to imagine why anyone feels the need to upload their thoughts 24/7. When I see people doing this on websites such as Facebook or Myspace I often wonder whats going through their minds that make them want to announce to the world that they are "happy" or "making toast". The obvious response is that nobody cares. Will anyone even read this? Does it matter is I post this or not? Sure my ideas are now circulating around the web but what does it matter, this post isn't going to cure cancer, its not going to feed people that are starving and dying. In fact I think that this blog has absolutely no importance at all. But don't get me wrong, I understand what blogs are doing, and i realize that without blogs free thought would be restrained. But in a world of abundant political correctness where speech isn't free, why say anything at all. We all know that if we said what we really wanted to say the world would likely be "disincorporated". Why do we parade around as if we are at liberty to perform and yet in actuality were just dancing around like a puppet on strings. What prize should I receive for this post? Was there anything worth reading again? Does your mind feel somehow enlightened? I know what my prize would be, but what do you think?

Science, and its trusty sidekick Religion
In the novel "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown as well as the article "Evolution and Religion Can Coexist, Scientist Say" by Stefan Lovgren they both analyze an important theme and that is Religion and Science is united in a quest to find mans origin. "Some of history's greatest minds, including Albert Einstein, where convinced there is intelligent life behind the universe" (from the article). Many have wondered how a god could intervene in the modern world and truly actualize the devine. With the concept of moral and religion implications we wonder "is a clear separation between science and religion possible?" Can we continue to create faithlessness science without ramification from a higher power? If we continue to carelessly crusade through the unknow than either science and religion will be united or they will clash.

Illuminati: Fact of Fiction?
Upon reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown the idea that illuminati really exist is very hard for me to digest .But apparently this secret organization has be around since the late 1700's. Their movement was founded on May 1, in 1776 and is commonly described as a movement of freethinkers and scientists. It is apparent that this group is intent on the overthrow of the church and funtion with intensive seceracy and stealth that makes them virtually impossible to infiltrate or even accidentally stumble apon their hushed society. In 1784 an order was issued and the French Revolution started, resulting in vast bloodshed and the murder of many kings. A German writer by the name of Zwack had compiled these orders into a book which contained the entire Illuminati story and was originally called the "Order of the Perfectibilists". So the story goes the carrier who was on his way from Germany to France was struck and killed by lightning. the police later found his body along with the subversive documents and turned them over to the proper authorities. Whether this is all true or just some conspiracy i don't think will ever know.

3 Influential Acoustic Guitar Players
In the Realm of Music there are numerous highly skilled musicians but what makes them influential? I think that there are many very gifted guitarists but when it comes to acoustic guitars there are some artist that are leading the pack. I think that the way an artist arranges his music, How it is played, and the melodies played really have an affect on why they are idols for others. The artist that have these in my opinion are very influential acoustic guitar players.
Eric Clapton
I think that Eric Clapton is a very gifted musician and his works was highly received from the musical community. In terms of acoustic ability his songs were amazing for example, "Classical Gas" which is a instrumental song containing a strong classical theme though the entire tune. Also the song he wrote with the band Derek and the Dominoes called "Layla"
which was a musical breakthrough with the addicting melody and the collaboration between acoustic music and an electrified full band. Furthermore Eric Clapton also has released numerous hits such as "Tears in Heaven", a beautiful tribute to his son.

James Taylor
This musical genius was one of only a few revolutionary singer/songwriters who sung sensitive and introspective songs. His skills included writing beautiful lyrics that where pleasing to the mind but he followed that up with very melodic song that made it pleasing to the ear as well. Song such as "You've Got a Friend" and "Fire and Rain" where songs that Taylor released giving listeners insight into moments that happened in his personal life helping him to connect to the audience. The theme in the song "Fire and Rain", Taylor's says was in part the sudden death of Suzanne Schnerr, and also his struggle to overcome his drug addiction. His ringing acoustic fingers and his raw and apocalyptic lyrics made James Taylor one of the most influential guitars know to man.
Andy Mckee
Andy Mckee has not only proven that he has mastered the acoustic guitar to profound ability but he is also another musician who has taken this guitar talent and added to it to produce something more. The Harp guitar is yet another instrument that Mckee can play without problem, this new introduction to rare instruments is exactly what the industry needs. Andy Mckee is very experimental in his development of extremely harsh and nearly impossible techniques which he handles with ease. His flagship song "Drifting" has taken the Internet my storm, it became very highly received throughout YouTube and Myspace and he continues to amaze audiences throughout the world with the help of the Internet.
As you can see in my personal opinion Eric Clapton, James Taylor and Andy Mckee the top three revolutionary musicians that has influenced the musical scene.
